Blue Screen with Bafunny Bafunny – Big Sky Production and iKraal facilitated a shoot for Hunta Live Productions about a month ago. It was a one day studio shot of stills and video with 8 of South Africa’s Leading comedians for an up and coming show during the run up to the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
A hilarious day was spent on set with lots of props and no script. On the video side we shot Sony EX3 on blue screen for the bulk of the day. As the project developed over the weeks after the shoot and edit was put together as a “spoof” movie trailer.
The EX footage keyed very well in aftereffects and a number of different scenarios where created. Probably the nicest suprise was the outcome of footage shot on a mechanical turn turntable which proved a lot of fun to playwith in post.
